Our spacious rooms create a polished and stylish environment, thanks to the particular attention to detail, with furniture and objects that follow the Tuscan tradition. Our B&B La Fonte Del Machiavelli is located in the heart of Tuscan countryside: our rooms are silent, with a view of olive trees and vineyards, perfect for a relaxing and quiet stay, far from the chaos of the city.

Our rooms

The bed and breakfast La Fonte del Machaivelli has 6 double rooms with bathroom ensuite, breakfast included (served on the beautiful panoramic terrace during summer) and private parking. The rooms have Florentine historical characters’ names (Leonardo, Botticelli, Michelangelo…); they are all different and follow the Tuscan style: exposed timber beams, floor in terracotta tiles, wrought iron beds. Some of the double rooms can hold an extra bed for a child.

Relax in the Chianti, along the swimming pool

The B&B La Fonte del Machiavelli wants to cuddle its guests, creating a relaxation area: a swimming pool surrounded by the green, far from confusion, to sunbathe, swim or only to doze along the swimming pool, during the hot days of the Tuscan summer.

There is nothing better than a refreshing dive, after a day visiting art cities and museums. You can rest on the sunbeds, lazing for hours and at the sunset savour a good wine glass, while the birds chirps.

The swimming pool has sun umbrellas and sunbeds available for free for the bed and breakfast guests. It is placed out of the north wind, in a sunny place exposed to the South, with a view on the valley, 10 per 5 meters, from 120 to 160 centimetres deep.

Going down the entrance path there is the Roman stair to enter in the swimming pool, the round steps are particularly suitable for children and advanced age persons, it allows to go in and out the swimming pool without effort, increasing the safety. The outer edge of the swimming pool is in terracotta tiles from Impruneta, typical of the zone.
